Bradford Glass can replace the glass in your residential windows. We replace just the window glass, saving you from having to replace the entire frame. If you have broken or cloudy windows, we can help as well.
Insulated Unit is the proper term for a panel of double pane glass. It is composed of two pieces of glass sandwiched around a spacer and a sealed airspace. When this seal fails, moisture and condensation are able to enter the middle airspace and obstruct your view and cause rot and mildew. The glass in most windows can be removed and replaced, restoring the window’s performance while saving considerably over the cost of full replacement. Our insulated units are specifically made for replacement to maintain original performance.
Windows lose and gain heat by conduction, convention, radiation and air leakage. Conduction is the movement of heat through a solid material – touch a hot skillet and you feel heat conducted from the stove through the pan. Heat flows through a window in much the same way. Our insulated units are specifically designed to maintain the original thermal performance of your windows.
Bradford Glass can install the right glass for your windows. Our insulated glass comes in Clear, Low-E, Bronze or Gray depending on your budget and light situations. Low-E glass allows light to be transmitted while black out harmful UV radiation that can fade your carpet & furniture. Bronze or Gray tint can block some light while still allowing you to see clearly through the windows. Bronze and Gray tints also provide some privacy to your home as some of the light is reflected back making it difficult to see in.
